Our project reproduces the work contributed in the paper An Internet-Wide View of Internet-Wide Scanning [2]. In this paper, the authors took a look at a large amount of network telescope data–that is, packets received at an IP block whose sole purpose is for receiving illegitimate traffic that is sent for network scanning purposes.
